This is an exciting year for Schenectady County as we celebrate our Bicentennial. Last January, the Schenectady County Legislature established a Bicentennial Commission to plan exciting events throughout 2009 that will highlight Schenectady County’s rich 200 year history and foster an appreciation for the historical treasures that can be found throughout Schenectady County.
Schenectady County has a proud history of blazing new trails of discovery, and we continue to be the home of industry leaders and future trailblazers, creating new opportunities in research, technology and innovation.
